Hello, I’m Catherine.

I’m a Soul Guide and Coach. I have a gift of being able to see all the goodness, love, and beauty of people’s souls. I often see this truth before others fully feel or see it themselves. It’s this gift and the full toolbox I’ve collected over almost two decades as a Reiki Healer, Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher, and Life Coach that makes what I share as a Soul Guide and Coach the special kind of healing and transformational experience it is.

I’m also a real-deal woman with 3 kids, a husband, and a dog.

We are a Canadian family, that followed the wisdom of our hearts and traded snow for the beach, and the concrete jungle for the jungle of Costa Rica.

My “work” in the world officially began in 2002 when I founded The Holistic Way. But, the truth is, what I “do” has been going on for as long as I can remember. I have always had an undeniable soul calling to support people to feel amazing being who they are.

My calm, compassionate, and heart-led, intuitive nature creates a safe place for people to feel comfortable tuning inward and being their true selves.

I credit the extensive travels I did – after graduating from McGill University – as the journey that shifted my natural gifts into my life’s work. The peace, joy and richness in the hearts of people that owned almost nothing was like nothing I’d ever seen – it was truly inspiring and summed up what I knew was possible for human potential. Anxiety, depression, and the constant cycle of dissatisfaction and striving to seek joy from external places was not the answer. The answer was to live in connection to your heart, know who you are, and lead life from the inside out. The contentment these people possessed, lit the fire of clarity and determination for me to share the work I do with the world  — and so began my business.

My life’s work has evolved over time but, the foundation has remained the same. Today, through my one-on-one coaching work, retreats and online offerings I live out my soul’s mission to guide, mentor, inspire and support people to live life with heart, soul and alignment to their truth.

I absolutely adore the work I do. It’s truly an honour to support people to awaken a deeper connection to their heart’s wisdom, embody their truth and feel more alive.

If this calls to you, I would LOVE to support you on your soul journey. Join my community, follow me on Instagram or Facebook and – if diving deeper is more your jam – let’s set up a time to chat!.

My Team

I would also like to introduce you to some very special and gifted women. These beauties make up The Holistic Way Yoga and Mindfulness Team. They bring the magic of the Kids Yoga program I created to the lives of many young people! I am beyond grateful for each of them and the incredible love they share with our leaders of tomorrow.

Laura Bianchi

Laura is amazing with the young people at the school. She is also our Yoga Therapist. I am honoured to have her on the ground in Toronto sharing her deeply peaceful and healing private Yoga Therapy sessions.

For the last 14+ years, Laura has been a devoted yoga practitioner. She completed her first 300+ hrs teacher training at Yoga Therapy Toronto. By completing her training for several kinds of yoga, such as Yoga for Kids, Restorative, Yin and 1000+ hrs Yoga Therapy Training, Laura has deepened her knowledge and practice.  She enriched her holistic approach with a training on Yoga for Youth at New Leaf Foundation and Applied Mindfulness Meditation at the University of Toronto.  Laura is currently teaching drop-in and private classes for families, kids, and seniors, at studios and corporations, as well as mindfulness yoga classes at nonprofit organizations.  Her intention is to create an enjoyable yoga class that provides a combination of breathing awareness, movement,  and tenderness towards ourselves with the intention of feeling lighter, more connected and relaxed.  Laura’s hope is to hold that space for you. To take care. To give care. I’m always grateful to have her as a part of The Holistic Way.

Dana Chapman

Dana has been a classroom teacher with the Toronto District School Board for more than twelve years, a seconded teacher at JICS, and she has completed her Masters of Education. It was through managing this work and some personal challenges that Dana landed in her first Yoga class more than a decade ago. A disciplined daily practice has inspired and supported her work with children and adults and has lead naturally into the study of Holistic Nutrition, Reiki, Yoga, and Yoga Therapy. She completed her Children’s Yoga Teacher training through The Yoga Tree and her 300 hour Yoga Teacher training and 500 hour Yoga Therapist designation through Yoga Therapy Toronto. Combining the worlds of education and Yoga has become a passion of hers. Dana runs an annual programme called Classroom Heartbeat: A Year of Mindfulness for teachers and parents who are looking to explore how their exploration of mindfulness, wellness, and balance has ripple effects into their relationships with the children in their homes and classrooms. She also teaches a variety of yoga classes for adults and children in the Annex as well as offers private Yoga Therapy sessions. I’m thrilled to have her as a part of the Holistic Way team!

Carolina Carvalho

Carolina started practicing yoga in 2000, while still living in Brazil. The inner peace found on the yoga mat led her to her first yoga teacher training program in Toronto. In 2006, Carolina left a corporate career and traveled to India to study yoga therapy in a clinical setting. Witnessing the healing aspects of this practice first hand and all around her, Carolina felt called on to deepen her studies and has since then been working with individuals of all walks of life, helping them achieve optimal health and well-being.

Carolina creates a safe practice environment and hope to inspire people to live from a place of love and acceptance, realizing their fullest potential. Ongoing studies and practice combined with a compassionate heart makes her classes a grounding and soothing experience for mind, body and soul.

Marni Levitt

Marni’s programs are filled with the gifts that she has gained from 10+ years leading teams, designing ground-breaking curriculum, teaching adults, and teaching some of the most vulnerable children in the public school system; 20+ years performing as a singer-songwriter; 10 years practice in traditional African drum-dance (including 2x study trips to Guinea, West Africa), and 10 years study in Yoga and Mindfulness (including specialized certifications to teach children and seniors).

Her experience, along with degrees in Education and Broadcasting, uniquely positions her as a modern-day wellness guru, guide and cultural animator.  Born out of transformative personal and work experiences, Marni’s highly innovative programs aim to light a spark to inspire people to reorient the relationship between their mind and body.

She has worked with hundreds of children, families and organizations across the GTA.

Annabel Zbogar

After Annabel discovered yoga 17 years ago, a personal practice has been close by ever since. Knowing how it’s effects benefit her, she wanted to pass on that practice to her children. But she soon discovered that a children’s practice is very different, leading her to train as a children’s yoga teacher. Now she sees these benefits not only on her own girls but all those that she has had the priviledge of teaching. Annabel is passionate about helping the next generation navigate their way through an increasingly stressful world. Further to this, she is currently taking the 300hr teacher training program at Yoga Therapy in Toronto. Annabel is also a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and believes in the importance of eating real, whole foods. She is at her happiest when she’s outdoors in nature; hiking and swimming in the warmer months and cross-country skiing in the winter months.
